I've been having fun this week with our old slides. We hadn't looked at them for so long. Danny bought a slide converter and I've been putting them on the computer. They are not the best quality and I have worked a lot on them on Photoshop to make them look better.

Chief Mountain

It will be two years, the first week in June since we visited Glacier National Park in Montana. This mountain fascinated me. It looks so neat standing there alone in the wide open sky.

An Old Vacation Picture

This is me at age 15. We were on vacation in Colorado. I loved those family vacation road trips. Even as a teenager I loved them, unlike the teenagers you see on TV who are portrayed as being bored and annoyed that they have to go.

We took a weeks vacation last Summer with Adam and Melissa in Kentucky. We stopped at the Original Kentucky Fried Chicken "Sander's Cafe" restaurant and had lunch one day.

Moose

I have a thing for moose. It goes along with the lodged/cabin decor that I like I guess. When Danny and I went to Colorado last September we hunted and hunted for moose until we found some. I had been standing by this lakes edge for along time watching a young bull moose that was across the lake. Just after I left and walked up the steps leading from the lake this moose comes and walks into the water right where I had been standing not one minuet before. I think she was waiting for me to leave so she could get across. How's that for a close encounter with a moose?

Alaska From a Plane

When we went to Alaska in 2003 we didn't own a digital camera so we borrowed my dad's. We didn't really know how to use it so we didn't get too many good pictures. We do however have a lot of video that we took with our camcorder. This picture is one I took from the plane window, it was so awesome to see the mountains and glaciers from above.

1965 Colorado Road Trip

Not the best of pictures but there was something not set right on the old Brownie camera of Dad's, so all the pictures on that trip were not much good. I think this one was probably the best one. This is the first time we ever went to Colorado and when I first fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE the mountains?

Adam's First Minnesota Vacation

This picture of Adam always makes me smile, it's so cute. It was taken the first year we vacationed in Minnesota. We stayed in the cabin with Mom, Dad and Linda at the Rest in the Pines Resort, Pine River. Many good memories there.
