Herbs
This is my herb garden a couple of years ago. I am so ready for winter to be over so I can get out and work in it.

Moose
I have a thing for moose. It goes along with the lodged/cabin decor that I like I guess. When Danny and I went to Colorado last September we hunted and hunted for moose until we found some. I had been standing by this lakes edge for along time watching a young bull moose that was across the lake. Just after I left and walked up the steps leading from the lake this moose comes and walks into the water right where I had been standing not one minuet before. I think she was waiting for me to leave so she could get across. How's that for a close encounter with a moose?

Alaska From a Plane
When we went to Alaska in 2003 we didn't own a digital camera so we borrowed my dad's. We didn't really know how to use it so we didn't get too many good pictures. We do however have a lot of video that we took with our camcorder. This picture is one I took from the plane window, it was so awesome to see the mountains and glaciers from above.

The Postcard
A scrapbook page I did using my grandmothers postcard album and one of the photo postcards(both front and back) that is in it. She is second from the left, the first row in the photo. The postcard was from a friend named Hattie, who must also be in the picture, as she writes "Remember the day?" I just love all the old family pictures, they are my favorites to scrapbook.

The Mills Family
I think this is a neat old picture of my Dad's maternal grandparents and his mother and uncle. It was taken on their farm in Kansas.

1965 Colorado Road Trip
Me, Linda, Dad, and Kathy

Not the best of pictures but there was something not set right on the old Brownie camera of Dad's, so all the pictures on that trip were not much good. I think this one was probably the best one. This is the first time we ever went to Colorado and when I first fell in love with the Rocky Mountains. Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE the mountains?

Snow Geese
These snow geese have been showing up around here about this time for three or four years. There are thousands of them! Linda and I went out in the very cold weather yesterday to get some pictures of them. We couldn't get very close though so it is hard to see them in these pictures. There was also this neat old barn we got a few pictures of and they came out real nice.

Feb. 3rd Birthdays
Tomorrow is my birthday. It was also my grandma's birthday. I was born on her 60th birthday and thought I was special. I always considered myself as her favorite grandchild (shh, don't tell my siblings and cousins). Grandma passed away in 1972.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA"

This is the only picture I can find of just the two of us together.

Me as a baby, maybe around my first birthday
