I've been having fun this week with our old slides. We hadn't looked at them for so long. Danny bought a slide converter and I've been putting them on the computer. They are not the best quality and I have worked a lot on them on Photoshop to make them look better.
Here are Danny and me in Sept.1978 on our Honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls. I was skinny!

An Old Vacation Picture

This is me at age 15. We were on vacation in Colorado. I loved those family vacation road trips. Even as a teenager I loved them, unlike the teenagers you see on TV who are portrayed as being bored and annoyed that they have to go.

Waterton Lake, Canada

This is me at Waterton Lakes National Park. Taken from the lawn of The Prince of Wales Hotel. What a very pretty place! Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE the mountains?

Feb. 3rd Birthdays

Tomorrow is my birthday. It was also my grandma's birthday. I was born on her 60th birthday and thought I was special. I always considered myself as her favorite grandchild (shh, don't tell my siblings and cousins). Grandma passed away in 1972.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA"

This is the only picture I can find of just the two of us together.

Animation

I already posted this scrapbooked page a while back but today I found an animated version I did of it. I have since forgotten how I did that. Anyway thought it was kind of cute.

My Tricycle

Here is me with my new tricycle I got for Christmas one year. What a neat trike! It had everything, a bell, a horn, a basket, handlebar shields and streamers! Boy did that trike get a lot of use. My own kids even played with it when they came along though it had lost all the neat things long long before.

Looking at the tree behind me in the picture I noticed the decorations. I can still remember those reindeer and snowman, they were made of Styrofoam. Even some of the balls were Styrofoam too. The reindeer's legs broke off as I remember.... I also can remember that red garland strung on the tree too. You can't see it in the picture but on top of the tree is (I'm pretty sure) a Santa face with a soft white beard. We used it for years. Some of these things are still around at Linda's house.

The Rocking Horse

Today I'm comparing a picture of me riding my rocking horse with one of Nathanael riding it . The old thing had a different paint job since the one of me was taken and it is in bad need of another one in the picture of Nathanael.

Like Mother Like Son or "Say Cheese"

When I ran across this picture of me as a preschooler it reminded me of the picture of Adam around the same age. Adam hated having his picture taken when he was little, guess I did too.
