There are three of these big old "Retro" glasses that we had when I was a kid. There were probably at least four originally. To me they represent Summer. They were usually saved for drinking from in the Summer to my thinking. I own them now and the other day I made a "Lemonade Shakeup" in one. YUM! I like drinking my ice tea in them too. They hold lots!

Molly 1990-2009
We lost our cat, Molly yesterday. We miss her!
Here is a poem that Melissa wrote when she was a kid about her.

MY CAT
What is that thing that streaks black and white throughout the room? Why it is a playful cat. Ricocheting off furniture and floor. What excitement to watch that cat, jumping off the couch. Flying left and right, whistling through the wind. Jumping wildly on my siblings. Not one moment did it stay on the ground. Pouncing like a little kitten off my mom and dad. Finally its calming down and its peaceful and serene once again.

I've been having fun this week with our old slides. We hadn't looked at them for so long. Danny bought a slide converter and I've been putting them on the computer. They are not the best quality and I have worked a lot on them on Photoshop to make them look better.
Here are Danny and me in Sept.1978 on our Honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls. I was skinny!
